Rich Pyorre the CEO of Pyorre Insurance Agency,LLC is a graduate of Chico State with a bachelors degree in Geography and a business minor. He taught school briefly before working for the government in Washington DC as a cartographer. He then entered the Navy and completed officers candidate school as an Ensign. He was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant junior grade. He was an urban planner for Mendocino County for two years before opening an insurance office in Fort Bragg in 1972. He served as a planning commissioner for Mendocino County for 6 years and has been on numerous boards and committees. He was President of the Fort Bragg Rotary Club in 1991-92 and Vice President of the Mendocino Coast Sports Foundation for 26 years. He has coached youth sports in soccer, football, baseball and wrestling. He is currently a board member of the Fort Bragg Rural Fire District.
