    Van Damme State Beach Whale Festival Campfire Program. Whale trivia, stories, songs, s'mores and cocoa. Watch the sunset on the beach while learning why we celebrate the charismatic cetacean of the season, the Eastern Pacific Gray Whale

    Van Damme Spring Ranch Whale Walk, starting Hwy 1 parking area across from Gordon Ln. Binoculars provided.

    Walk #1: 11 AM - 12 N

    Walk #2: 1 PM - 2 PM

    This event will be canceled for rain, severe weather/ocean conditions or park closure.

    Margarita Madness, at the stunning Little River Inn (as part of the Little River Whale Fest) Join the fun and watch the battle as professional and amateur bartenders go head to head for glory and prizes - winners announced at 2:30 PM. Judge up to six Margaritas and vote for your favorite. Tickets are $75 for this fundraiser for MendoParks, helping us to support 10 coastal state parks from Westport to Manchester.

    MacKerricher Whale Walks starting from the Ward Ave. Haul Rd. Visit our 3 "Cetacean Stations" to learn about the Eastern Pacific Gray Whale and why we celebrate tis festival. Trail access point: Laguna Point, MacKerricher State Park, 24100 MacKerricher Park Rd.

    MacKerricher State Park Whale Festival Campfire Program. Songs, stories, s'mores, and whale trivia. MacKerricher Campfire Center, across from park entrance kiosk and visitor center. Parking in group camp

    Sunday, March 16 11 AM - 3 PM

    MacKerricher St. Park. Help preserve the fully articulated whale skeleton by applying a coat of paint to the bones. Paint and brushes will be provided, volunteers should be wearing painting clothes, all ages and painting talents are welcome. Cocoa provided. 

  • Westport Whale Festival Westport Whale Festival

    Westport will not be doing a Whale Festival this year. Last year we got rained out and it dispirited people too much. Hope you're not too disappointed.
