Susan Bridge-Mount Jewelry Demonstration

SUSAN BRIDGE-MOUNT DEMONSTRATION AT PARTNERS

 

As part of Mendocino County Celebrates American Craft Week, Partners Gallery is holding a demonstration by Susan Bridge-Mount on her unique jewelry work with felt and rubber at the gallery on Saturday October 3 from 12 noon to 2pm.

 

Susan Bridge-Mount creates unique and individualistic pieces of jewelry utilizing Merino wool felt, leather and rubber.  She also designs and creates necklaces and bracelets with vintage mahjong tiles, bamboo and antique beads.  Susan seeks out found objects to incorporate into her jewelry pieces. Her work has been described as "edgy" and "not for the faint at heart."  She is currently creating new designs with silk moth cocoons that she hand dyes and strings into necklaces and earrings.

 

Partners Gallery is located at 335N. Franklin Street in Fort Bragg and is open Wednesday through Monday 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays 10 am to 4 pm.
