Polar Plunge

The Fort Bragg Aquatics (FBA) Swim Team will participate in the annual Polar Plunge event at Big River on Saturday, February 22nd, to support athletes of the Special Olympics of Northern California.  On the day of the event, FBA swimmers will jump in the Big River, wearing a clever costume, to ensure that athletes with disabilities have a chance to compete in swimming events.

FBA swim team members are looking for sponsors and raising donations at tables set up at the Safeway supermarket on Saturday, February 15.
It takes only $125 to sponsor one Special Olympics athlete to participate in Special Olympics events.  Our team goal is to raise $2,000 from the community for the Polar Plunge at Big River.
