Parducci Wine Cellars to host first annual Crush Rush, 5K benefit run

The Thornhill Family will host the first annual Crush Rush 5K benefit run, at Parducci Wine Cellars on Sunday, October 12th.  The race will begin at 8:30 AM and the Thornhill’s and Parducci Wine Cellars invite runners, joggers, and walkers of all ages and abilities to tour the scenic 115-acre Parducci Home Ranch vineyard and winery following the race.

The Parducci Crush Rush is a community fundraiser to benefit the Ukiah Unified School Gardens Program.  The North Coast Striders, a Mendocino County running club, is sponsoring the event.

Pre-registration is open until Thursday, October 9th.  The race entry fee is $25 for adults and $15 for participants sixteen and under.  Entry includes a race t-shirt, brunch, and a complimentary wine tasting.

Top finishers in five age divisions will win prizes including gift certificates to Ukiah businesses.  Parducci Wine Cellars invites those who cannot participate in the Crush Rush to cheer on their friends and family, and attend the awards presentation at 10:00 AM on the Parducci
