"New Drawings", a show of recent work by Carolyn Schneider at Partner's Gallery, portrays a collection of characters wandering a dark cartoon world similar to ours.  They include the Grackle Lady, the Cowgirl Poet, Mr. Blue, and Persephone's Daughter.  The artist uses charcoal and pastels on handmade paper to create these characters, using friends, a manikin, and glimpses as models.

 

Partners Gallery is located at 335N. Franklin Street in Fort Bragg and is open Wednesday through Monday 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays 10 am to 4 pm.
