Easter Weekend at the Gardens!
Name: Easter Weekend at the Gardens!Date: March 23, 2016Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 AM PDTEvent Description:The Gardens will be a-buzz with activities for the whole family all weekend long! Join us at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens March 26 and 27 and celebrate spring with a stroll at our garden by the sea.
Rhododendron Walks will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 am and again at 2:00 pm. More than 1,000 Rhododendrons can be seen blooming throughout the Gardens this time of year. Join MCBG Gardener Jim Celeri and American Rhododendron Society’s local chapter President, Dennis McKiver to learn more about these breathtaking beauties.
Get festive on Sunday with free face painting from noon to 3:00 pm and an Easter egg hunt on the Event Lawn at 1:00 pm. The first 50 guests will receive an egg-cellent prize… so be sure to hop over to the Gardens early on Easter Sunday!
Pop in to The Garden Store and Nursery on the Plaza for fresh new décor and plants. The Garden Store will have a selection of stylish sun-shading hats, top of the line gardening tools, great giveaway prizes, and more. Dahlia and Begonia tubers from the Gardens' own curated collection will be available at Nursery on the Plaza for the first time this year... and we only pick the best so don't miss out!
