    In May at Partners Gallery, Carolyn Schneider is showing a new series in charcoal and pastel on handmade paper called “Cocktail Party.”

     

    Schneider describes the work thus:  “The Cocktail Party Effect is the ability to focus on one conversation in the midst of so many, even if its brief.  I wanted my characters to be at gathering places and parties, connecting or waiting for the Cocktail Party Effect to kick in.”

     

    Partners Gallery is located at 335N. Franklin Street in Fort Bragg and is open Wednesday through Monday 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays 10 am to 4 pm.
