Call for Auditions! Gloriana's Once Upon a Mattress

Gloriana Musical Theatre "Once Upon a Mattress" Auditions! Directed by Jeffrey Grant. Show opens May 13.

Based on the classic tale of "*The Princess and the Pea*," this show gives a new twist on an old story. Princess after princess have tried for the hand of the Prince, but none has been able to please his mother's standards. And since the law states no one in the kingdom shall marry before the Prince does, everyone is eager for a Princess to pass the test! This zany musical comedy promises to be great fun for all.

We welcome all auditioners, men and women of all skill, aged 14 to 65+. With nine featured roles - six men and three women - plus a chorus of lords and ladies, peasants and princesses, and even one non-speaking, non-singing role, there is something for everyone.

You will be asked to prepare a Broadway song (please bring the sheet music accompaniment), and to read from the script provided. A script is available for check out by calling 964-7469.
