Art in the Gardens 2015

Set amidst the spectacular background of the summer floral displays at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, the 24th annual Art in the Gardens will be held Saturday, August 1 from 11am to 5pm. The day-long juried art event benefits horticulture, conservation, and education projects at the Gardens.

This family-friendly garden party has activities for everyone, from shopping for art (fine art in all media, edible art, and boutique products for home and body), demonstrations by Pacific Textile Arts members, toe-tapping music, and partaking of delectable foods for lunch (available for purchase). This year a Beer Tasting option has been added; beer and wine tasting includes a keepsake glass in the tasting price.

This year's featured artwork was created by local botanical artist Marian DeGloria. The watercolor, titled Succulents, is available for sale. The image will also grace an event t-shirt. Ms. DeGloria will be in attendance at the Featured Artist Booth. She is a member of the American Society of Botanical Artists and is represented by the Artists Cooperative of Mendocino.

Ticket cost is $20 advance/$25 at the door; kids under age 16 free; wine or beer tasting $20 per person. Tickets are available online by clicking the link at gardenbythesea.org/aig. No dogs allowed the day of the event. No general admission passes accepted.
