The Room Where It Happens - Works by Carolyn Schneider

The Room Where It Happens is Carolyn Schneider's new show at Partners Gallery in Mendocino. Her drawings continue to present human/animal beings in a variety of settings: in the studio, during the green flash, trying to jump through hoops. Schneider's art is heavily influenced by narrative fiction and her work designing sets at the Mendocino Theatre Company.  Schneider says, "Theatre is a black box that can be transformed into a world where different characters live out a story.?
The work is pastel, acrylic, and gouache on paper.
