Name: Steven Bates CD Release Party!
    Date: February 16, 2019
    Time: 6:30 PM - 11:00 PM PST
    Event Description:
The long wait is over! The new Steven Bates album is finally here! And to celebrate its arrival, the Steven Bates Band will perform in a huge, rocking, CD-release dance party along with many very special musical guests! On Saturday, February 16th, celebrate Valentine's Day weekend with a blast--of music, dancing and fun--as some of the best musicians in Northern California come together at the Masonic Center in Fort Bragg to celebrate the completion of Steven Bates' latest musical opus! The musicians performing with Steven will include: Johnny Bush, Jon Faurot, David Hayes, Ralph Humphrey, Gwyneth Moreland, Calvin Turnbull, and Gene Parsons, who gave of their talents in the recording of the new album and who will be playing songs from it throughout the night. The new CD, Angel In The Tall Grass, is a roots-rock, americana-influenced collection which perfectly showcases the range of Steven Bates' song-writing talents with bluegrass-tinged tunes like "Listen to Your Heart", "I Belong" and "Roll Like A Stone", to heart-felt ballads like "Life Of The Party" and "Love For Me", as well as good-time rockers such as "Tough It Up" and "We Are Alive". Through the 11 tracks on the album with all their myriad moods, Steven Bates shifts from acoustic to electric, from dobro to mandolin, his guitar-playing virtuosity on full display. With the help of all his musical friends who lent their talents in the recording of Angel In The Tall Grass, Steven's new album is every bit as good as his other past releases and it will, of course, be available for purchase at the event, as well as other past recordings from the Steven Bates' back catalogue. The band will devote one whole set to playing all the new songs from Angel In The Tall Grass; for the second half of the evening, the dancing continues as the band performs some old favorites from Steven's previous recordings. This is an all-ages event with a full bar, a silent auction, and a portion of the proceeds from the event benefits The Friends of Hospice. This show will be "one for the books"-- a musical milestone not to be missed! This event is brought to you by Cinders Productions at the Masonic Center, 428 N. Current Health Order

Mendocino County’s revised SIP goes in effect Friday, July 3 at 12:00 p.m. and will be in place until 12:00 p.m. on August 3, 2020. A revised order will be released upon the expiration of this Order.

Health Officer Dr. Noemi Doohan issued a new Shelter-In-Place (SIP) Order today, Wednesday, July 1, 2020, which is slated to go into effect at 12:00 pm on Friday July 3, 2020. The new Order maintains the current stage 3 opening, but adds additional restrictions to certain sectors and activities to ensure public safety in light of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in Mendocino County. California’s positivity rate is trending upward and Governor Newsom has made it clear to counties that following the State’s Orders and guidance is mandatory. The State is closely monitoring local counties and cities that are experiencing surges and if necessary the State will come in and require local jurisdictions to roll back openings especially for high risk business sectors. The new Order is in line with State guidance with measures to address high risk areas..

It is designed to represent businesses from Hopland to Laytonville, across the county to Boonville, Fort Bragg and the South coast. The focus of the campaign is to create a central marketing effort to support local businesses to generate income while closed to the public.

The campaign is a perfect platform to market your services, gift cards, and products. It will directly link customers to your selling platform. (delivery, curbside pickup, etc. within the guidelines of the most recent Shelter In Place orders must be observed)
