MendoParks Whale Walks
MendoParks offers free guided Whale Walks every Saturday from December 7th through March 28th. Walks at MacKerricher State Park are from 11:00-noon (meet at the visitor Center for discussion before heading out to Laguna Point to go whale watching) Walks at the Ford House Visitor Center and Museum at the Mendocino Headlands State Park (meet at the Ford House to learn about gray whales before heading out to the bluffs to look for whales) at 1:00 p.m. Please dress appropriately; dogs on leash allowed; binoculars provided.
