    Dedication and unveiling of the Pygmy Forest National Natural Landmark and rededication of the Charlotte M. Hoak Pygmy Forest. A speach by Laurie Jenkins, Director of the National Parks Service, Receptions and lunchen, Hikes to Pygmy Forest planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday September 9th, 10th and 11th.
