An Exhibition of Beautiful, Colorful Paintings by Ellen Heise

At Highlight Gallery we are pleased to host an exhibition of beautiful, colorful paintings by Ellen Heise! Being so far away from her birthplace, she has developed a style that combines her own tradition, culture and Eastern Art appreciation with the knowledge she learned in art school and the influence of Western Art styles. Painting inside a painting has become her trademark which describes well of who she is as an artist in the U.S. who is deeply influenced and inspired by the Chinese art of Taiwan where she was born and raised. Her landscape scenes are tranquil and she loves it when her audience tells her that they'd like to live inside one of her paintings to escape daily life for a moment.
