    Jennifer Bosma Joins Savings Bank Board of Directors

    The Board of Directors of Savings Bank of Mendocino County has appointed Mendocino Coast businesswomen Jennifer Bosma to serve on its Board.

    Jennifer Bosma, Vice President of Cypress Holdings,Inc., is filling the position on the board previously held 
    for 23 years by her father, Tom Honer. Tom will transition to a Senior Director.

    "We are thankful for the contributions that Tom has provided to Savings Bank during his time as a Director and we're excited to welcome Jennifer to the Board", said Stacy Starkey, Savings Bank President and CEO.  "Jennifer's business experience, energy and commitment to the community will serve the Bank well."

    Jennifer grew up coming to Mendocino County and later moved to Fort Bragg during her high school years.  She attended the University of the Pacific where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree.  After working in several different industries in quality control, Jennifer and her family returned to Fort Bragg in 2005 to continue the family tradition and expand the ision of Harvest Market.  She immediately became involved in the community through school organizations. Rotary, and the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce.


    Harvest Market , a family-owned business started by Tom Honer in may 1985, began as a single,traditional grocery store and has evolved into three stores;Harvest Market, Harvest at Mendosa's, and Mendocino Hardware.  These stores reflect a unique blend of conventional,specialty,organic,domestic,international,and local products.  Over the past several years,Jennifer has taken the reins in transitioning the leadership from her father to herself and her husband.  Their focus has included community support and sustainability practices.
