Singer/songwriter based in the San Francisco Bay Area, is known for his poetic, story-driven adult alternative music that blends elements of indie folk, Americana, and rock. He began his music career in Boston, gaining recognition as the frontman for the funk rock band Judy's Tiny Head (JTH). The band released two EPs, including the single ''My Car,'' which achieved local radio success in New England. Seeking a fresh start after JTH disbanded, Forrest relocated to Northern CA, where his songwriting took on a more introspective tone influenced by his meditation practice.
