    Airstrip at the Noyo Headlands Park. Park your car facing the ocean.

    The City would like this lot to be empty by 3 PM, to prepare for the fireworks.

    The shuttle is FREE.

     

    Yes, there is free parking for cars with a disabled placard at the Noyo Headlands Park, for the fireworks.

    2nd Hand Grass with Gene Parsons is a unique North Coast jewel that sparkles brightly. They are masters at mashing up bluegrass and Americana pickings with modern takes on traditional and popular contemporary songs that make you slap your leg and dance with joy. 2nd Hand Grass started out as a bluegrass jam session at Butch Kwan's place five years ago. Lee and Butch had been playing fiddle tunes together for many years. They soon added Brian Urban and bass player Dan Coulson for an acoustic bluegrass jam. Adding in electric instruments required a drummer and Sam Arintok had been playing drums with Butch for years, so he was a natural addition. Butch Kwan tragically passed away in March of 2021 leaving a sonic void in the band. Morgan Daniel stepped in to provide guitar and vocals to fill out our sound. Gene Parsons, a music legend with The Byrds, the Flying Burrito Brothers, and many others, joined this creative collaboration about a year ago adding his mentoring, experience, and wisdom. 2nd Hand Grass is: Brian Urban: Lead Vocals, banjo and guitar Sam Arintok: Lead and backup vocals, percussion Dan Coulson: Stand-up and electric bass Morgan Daniel: Vocals, StringBender guitar Lee Rider: Guitar, dobro Gene Parsons: Vocals, pedal steel guitar There are two shows, the first starts at 5:00 to 6:30PM and the second starts at 7:30 to 9:00PM.
