100 Women Strong

The Noyo Center for Marine Science is excited to announce it is one of three local nonprofits nominated for October's 100 Women Strong giving event, and we need your help to win the $10,000 top prize.

The model gathers 100+ community members (all genders welcome) and asks each person (or group) to donate $100. It culminates is a celebratory event during which 3 nonprofits present a 5-min. pitch, followed by 5 minutes of audience questions. Once the organizations have finished, the attendees will vote, and all donations up to $10,00 will go to the winning nonprofit. The rest will be split between the other two organizations, so if more people get involved, all three nonprofits have an opportunity to be awarded money. 
How can you help?
1. Donate $100 here to earn a vote. Join with friends and family to make a group donation of $100 if needed. Ex: 4 friends can pool $25 each to make the $100 contribution. All 4 friends can attend the event and cast 1 vote as a group.
2. Share this information with your network to assure many Noyo Center supporters are involved.
3. Attend the event on October 19 from 5-7:30 PM at Cafe Beaujolais to cast your vote for the Noyo Center (you must attend to cast your vote; each $100 donation = 1 vote.)
