Mendocino Art Center's Natural Dye Showcase
The Mendocino Art Center exhibits the Natural Dye Showcase, August 3-28. The national, juried exhibition highlights excellence in contemporary use of natural dyes. The distinguished juror Yoshiko Wada chose 47 works by 35 fiber artists from 14 different states for their merit as works of art and for the artists’ skillful knowledge of the chemistry of natural dyes. Also on exhibit a Winesong Preview exhibition and Robert Burridge paintings. Daily, 10am to 5pm. Free admission. Reception: August 8, 4pm to 8 pm.
