A 5-piece rock band, The Gatecrashers have a folk-blues influence and is comprised of residents along the Mendocino Coast. Denny Lunsford (Elk) - lead guitar & vocals and Bruce Graves (Fort Bragg) – bass, have been playing together steadily since 1975. They are joined by Kirk Handley (Elk) - keyboards, rhythm guitar, & vocals; Sam Ware (Fort Bragg) - drums; and Jamie Peters (Fort Bragg) - vocals & rhythm instruments.
The Gatecrashers song list is comprised of originals and cover tunes. Initially more blues oriented, over the past three years The Gatecrashers have added more rock into their repertoire, including a smattering of 60's 70's ‘80s & ‘90s cover =
