38th Annual Whale Festival Has Been Postponed

The Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce takes the health and safety of our community very seriously. This morning Governor Newsom issued an executive order directing Californians to follow public health directives including canceling large gatherings of more than 250 people. In response, the Chamber Board has decided to postpone the Fort Bragg Whale Festival until the Fall.

While this decision was a difficult one, we feel that it is important to be cautious and proactive in order to protect the health of our community. We will release the new dates as soon as possible. In the meantime, keep in mind that there are currently zero cases of coronavirus in Mendocino County, so please come to the coast and take advantage of our natural beauty, fresh air, beautiful trails and parks and of course WHALES!
