Live Mushroom Display

The Ford House will have a live mushroom exhibit on display throughout the month of November and December. Also on exhibit will be artwork and photography by local artist and Marine Biologist Ron LeValley. Alison Gardner and Merry Winslow, authors of “The Wild Mushroom Cookbook” will be at the Ford House on second Saturday November 10th. From 4-7 pm. They have Farmed, Foraged and Fermented local mushrooms and will be serving teas and tasty dips made from their recipe book. They would be happy to sign one of their books for you at your request. Great for families, children and those with certain disabilities that may prevent them from viewing mushrooms in their natural habitats. The Ford House also serves as a visitor information center.
