Description of race course:

The Annual Whale Run/ Walkstarts & finishes in the heart of Fort Bragg in the Skunk Train parking lot.  

1. •It is an out & back race. 

KIDDIES RACE:  Start 7:30am

1. •Start in Skunk Train parking lot

2. •Ages: 4-10  1/2 mile run

All participating kids receive ribbons.

FUN WALKERS: Start 8:05am

1. •Start in Skunk Train parking lot

2. •LEFT on W Pine Street

3. •RIGHT on Stewart Street

4. •LEFT on W Elm Street

5. •STRAIGHT on Noyo Headlands Coastal Trail to end

6. •Return same route to 
   Skunk Train parking lot

All other events: Start 8:00am

5K/10K RUNNERS

5K COMPETITIVE WALKERS:

1. •Start in Skunk Train parking lot

2. •LEFT on W Pine Street

3. •RIGHT on Stewart Street

4. •LEFT on W Elm Street

5. •RIGHT on Glass Beach Drive

6. •CROSS Pudding Creek Trestle

7. •Onto the Haul Road

8. •Race to 5K (10K) marker

9. •Return same route to 
   Skunk Train parking lot
