Enjoy a behind-the-scenes, self-guided tour of a diverse selection of the Mendocino Coast’s most magnificent private gardens – situated from south of Fort Bragg to Albion – on the Mendocino Art Center’s (MAC) 26th Annual Mendocino Coast Garden Tour, Saturday, June 30, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets are now on sale. This year’s accompanying activities include an Opening Night Gala, at a beautiful private home on the Mendocino Coast, Friday, June 29, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served. On Garden Tour day, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Ravens Restaurant at the Stanford Inn by the Sea hosts a gourmet three-course, plant based lunch prepared especially for Garden Tour participants. A portion of the proceeds benefits the Mendocino Art Center. Also on June 30, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the popular garden shop and plant sale will be held at the Mendocino Art Center, with an array of plants and creative handcrafted garden art, set amidst the Art Center’s own beautiful grounds. The Members’ Juried Garden-Themed Exhibit, held in conjunction with the Garden Tour during the month of June, features the finest works created by the Mendocino Art Center’s contributing members. The Garden Tour is the Art Center’s largest annual fundraiser.
