Opus Chamber Music Concert

Taking its name from the Old World wine producing grape, vitis vinifera, the Vinifera Trio hails from California's New World country in the San Francisco Bay Area. With training at some of the top music programs in the world this trio performs everthing from the classical period to works by contemporary composers. They are known for bringing an appealing kind of casual intimacy to their performances. Some highlights from this program include; L'Historie du Soldat (Stravinsky's own arrangement for Clarinet, Piano and Violiln), Ligeti's Trois Bagatelles and Gershwin's An American in Paris.
