Mendocino Land Trust: Caspar Pond Trail Opening & Ribbon Cutting

Birdwatchers rejoice! MLT is officially opening a sweet new trail in Caspar. This beloved birding hotspot will now be open to the public and maintained in perpetuity by MLT, thanks to a very generous grant from the Mendocino Coast Audubon Society and the foresight of a community-minded landowner. This gentle trail wraps around the Caspar Pond and hosts a myriad of song birds. shore birds, and migratory species. After the trail dedication, we will walk around the pond to see which of our friends in flight we can spot!
