Elk Fire's 70th Anniversary and Summer BBQ

The Elk Volunteer Fire Department celebrates 70 years of service and a new Chief at its 20^th Annual Summer BBQ. Savor brisket, chicken or polenta and mushroom entrees plus sides, dessert and coffee. Enjoy a no-host bar featuring Elk’s famous and soon-to-be famous Margaritas, live music with Buckridge Racket Club and a performance by Mendo Taiko drummers, a raffle, a silent auction and activities for kids. Come out, have fun and support the firefighters who serve Elk and provide mutual aid to surrounding communities. The annual BBQ generates critical funds to maintain the department facilities, vehicles, equipment and training. Kindly leave the dogs at home.
