DESCRIPTION:Learn to Sea Kayak on the Beautiful Mendocino Coast The Mendocino Coast is a paddler's paradise with quiet esturaries\, magical sea caves\, and fun surf zones.  Located 3 hours north of San Francisco\, the Mendocino Coast embodies the best of Coastal Northern California - a rugged coastline\, breath-taking beaches\, towering redwood forests\, quaint towns\, and a slow pace of life.Learn to Sea Kayak is for beginning kayakers who want to learn to sea kayak in a world class paddling destination under the guidance of expert coaches.Instruction will include strokes\, efficiency\, and safety skills for paddling decked sea kayaks.  Day one will be in the quiet waters of the Noyo River Estuary.  Day two will be in ocean in a protected bay.  Day three will be a guided coastal exploration tour along the Mendocino Coast. (Day 4 is an optional 1/2 day Whitewater of the Sea Adventure)Class size is limited to 6 students.Instructors will be Jeff Laxier and Cate Hawthorne$375/person includes kayak and wetsuit rental.To sign-up call (707) 962-1623.
