From the California desert to Washington D.C.\, we meet the people who opened their hearts and doors to the walkers. With them\, we marvel at the commitment and sheer determination of the marchers\, hundreds of ordinary people\, who believed that peace was worth the sacrifice. Jacquelyn and Donna will introduce the show and lead a discussion afterwards.Jacquelyn Woodward is a devoted peace activist and former director of several peace organizations on the Monterey Peninsula. She participated in the Great Peace March and photographed this life-changing event.  Donna Love is the author of 3 books written in her 80s\, including Walking for Our Lives\, which chronicles her evolution from a passive homemaker to an involved peacemaker. . Born with crippled feet\, she has walked thousands of miles for peace.This program is a benefit for the Community Center of Mendocino-Donations appreciated.
