DESCRIPTION:Catch a Canoe & Bicycles Too at the Stanford Inn by the Sea is celebrating Earth Day by offering complimentary one hour rides along beautiful Big River Estuary on Saturday\, April 19th.\n\nThe locally made Solar Wind is a 9 person redwood outrigger which has a unique configuration aimed at un-tipable stability\, combined with tribrid propulsion. A large downwind sail is utilized to silently glide upriver with a tailwind. Human power is used at the paddlers discretion\, and as the breeze varies. On the return trip\, a solar and electric drive is used to effortlessly return regardless of wind and tide direction. This boat is typically used for guided tours during the summer.Reservations are necessary and can be made by calling Catch a Canoe and Bicycles Too at (707) 937-0273 between 9 and 5 daily.
