Ideal candidates have bed and breakfast or hotel experience, however all general service experience will be considered. Must have good people skills and a friendly disposition. Breakfast Prep/Runner: Job Requirements
Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
Current California Food Handler Card strongly preferred.
Must be able to lift 20 - 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail required
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers & supervisors.
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to the job.
Must be flexible in hours and days available to work, must be able to do on-call shifts.
Must have a professional/positive attitude and appearance
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Must be have reliable transportation.
**Must be available to work mornings!
Housekeeper: Essential Functions/Job Duties
Housekeeping Duties - Cleans and stocks assigned rooms to meet established cleanliness and quality standards. Makes beds, cleans rooms (bathroom, bedroom, sitting room, etc.), dusts, and vacuums, washes windows/tracks, reports maintenance deficiencies and removes trash, dirty linens, towels and used amenities from rooms.
Front Desk: Essential Functions/Job Duties:
Handle guest relations which include but are not limited too (Reservations, answering the phones, concierge services, etc.)
Some baking &/or food prep is required
Cleaning & laundry
Attending to breakfast by replenishing items, busing tables, and after breakfast service clean up
The right candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, polished telephone and email skills, superior attention to detail, computer and organizational skills. The ability to multi-task, prioritize and shift gears quickly, complete tasks efficiently and accurately, take initiative and be able to receive feedback and able to work as part of a team. Familiarity with Mendocino and it's culture, events and geography is a plus.
